We are looking for a strong leader to drive our social media and community. In this high-visibility role, you will be an evangelist for our software. Our ideal candidate will become the company's ‘face and voice’ by building and engaging customers, professionals, influencers, and subject matter experts through social media content.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day community management across our social channels - Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora and Twitter.

  • Be a subject matter expert and the evangelist for Expandi

  • Grow and moderate Expandi social media accounts and community

  • Actively manage daily community and social media interactions across the Expandi Facebook group, Reddit, Twitter, and LinkedIn, handling irrelevant comments, trolls, and spam with savvy

  • Create explainer videos, how-to videos, demo videos, product overview videos, etc.

  • Generate reports that summarize community activity, provide meaningful analysis, and show progress against goals

  • Develop sufficient technical knowledge about Expandi

  • Stay up-to-date on current LinkedIn outreach trends and approaches, construct insights on community members, and actively share with the marketing team

  • Create content and facilitate engagement to highlight new product releases, use cases, value drivers, and best practices that drive success for Expandi customers

  • you will work across teams to create, manage and execute a social media calendar that drives more profound engagement with Expandi users

  • Drive Expandi community growth

  • Curate engaging content from subject matter experts throughout the organization and externally

  • Partner with the lead acquisition team to attract new community members

  • Execute and maintain our brand tone and messaging on social media, always looking for improved ways to engage with our customers.

  • Manage our social interactions and experiences to attract new followers and maintain community engagement through platform-specific tactics,

  • Monitor, assess, and respond to ongoing social media mentions, replies, and comments to cultivate brand love and guide potential and current customers

Job requirements

Skills and expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of the digital landscape and social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Reddit, Quora and others

  • The extroverted personality that enjoys being the guide or starter of community conversations

  • Can effectively communicate concepts through a variety of channels

  • Has a proven track record for creating high-quality video and text content that can bring awareness and understanding to Expandi community members.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Self-motivated individual contributor and team player

  • Proven organizing skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously

  • Proven experience facilitating and moderating community discussions

  • Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications within social media marketing and a comprehensive understanding of the social landscape and platform best practices
